Gaia Spa at Boringdon Hall wins big at World Spa & Wellness Awards

Boringdon Hall & Gaia Spa were announced winners of the World Spa Wellness Awards at the Brewery, London. We won the Hotel Spa of the Year of Western Europe and Scandinavia, beating off competition from Rudding Park in Yorkshire, Bulgari Spa at the Bulgari Hotel London, T Spa at Grand Hotel Tremezzo in Lake Como and GOCO Spa in Venice.

The winners were chosen through an extensive application process including a mystery shopper which visited every shortlisted spa and resort to score the different properties based on a wide variety of business criteria. The judges commented that Gaia Spa at Boringdon Hall “excelled at bringing the hotel and spa experience together”.

Launched in 2012 to recognise and reward the outstanding work carried out by spas across the globe, the World Spa & Wellness Awards is considered the leading award ceremony in the industry and aims to inspire spas around the world to be the very best they can be and raise global industry standards.

This year – the biggest awards yet – saw winners named across 11 categories, recognising all aspects of the spa and wellness industry.
