These beautiful rooms have been meticulously restored to offer some insight into Boringdon Hall's history - exquisite antique furniture, magnificent stone fireplaces and rich furnishings set the scene for an unforgettable stay.

As our guest you'll have complimentary membership to award-winning adult-only Gaia Spa boasting countryside views and home to our heated indoor pool, hydrotherapy pool complete with outdoor swim through, experience showers, heat experiences including Crystal salt steam room and Finnish sauna. Access to our state-of-the-art gym is also included, alongside provision of towels, flip flops and gowns upon each visit and nourishing GAIA Skincare amenities are provided. Spa treatments are available to book and a 10% discount is applied to each booking (pre-booking is recommended.)

Each Four Poster Room located in our five star hotel has its own unique character, many have freestanding baths in the bedroom as well as spacious en-suite wet rooms. These classic rooms are perfectly suited to longer stays and romantic whisk-aways in Devon.

Francis Room
This room is named after Sir Francis Drake, John Parker honoured Sir Francis Drake with a  banquet at Boringdon Hall in 1587. This room is the most original of the four poster rooms dating back to 1740. 

Elizabeth Room
Is named after Queen Elizabeth I, in 1588 Queen Elizabeth I stayed at Boringdon Hall during her progress through the West Country

Catherine Room
This room is named after Lady Catherine Parker, married to John Parker; 1st Baron Boringdon. Be careful of the fireplace, this one caused the very first fire at Boringdon back in the 1700's 

Isabella Room
With an original 17th Century wardrobe in the corridor as you approach, a story dating back to the same time period names a young lady called Isabella who, at the age of 17, fell pregnant with the Lords sons’ illegitimate child.
