The heart of Boringdon

Relax and unwind with friends, family or colleagues in an intriguingly special space.

The Great Hall is a grand yet welcoming space where afternoon teas, aperitifs and light lunches can be enjoyed in front of a roaring log fire. In the summer, the Great Hall comes beautifully alive as light streams in through the magnificent lead work windows.

The Hall is adorned with tapestries, ornate carvings and oak paneling, which give it a distinctive and unforgettable ambience. The focal point, however, is of course the great mantle above the fireplace which depicts the coat of arms of King James I. Bearing the date 1640, it is exquisitely ornamented with the figures Peace and Plenty.

"The Great Hall is a wonderful place to relax with a drink . We were welcomed with our two old Labradors and we enjoyed the first class service, ambience and the range of drinks available."
