Dog Friendly Hotel

Dogs are welcome at our country house hotel near Plymouth, Devon. There are endless walks on and around Dartmoor for dog-lovers and their dogs. Dogs are welcome on Dartmoor but please remember that as a National Park there are many farms and habitats - please keep your dog on a lead near farmland.

Please inform us before arrival that you will be bringing your dog. We make a charge of £5 per night for your dog. 

If you are interested in dog friendly walks on Dartmoor, The Drake’s Trail is a network of walking trails on Dartmoor ranging from Ilfracombe in north Devon to Plymouth in south Devon.

There are four walking routes as part of The Drake's Trail - from a gentle 3 mile stroll to a 9 mile trek. Including Clearbrook, Burrator, Buckland Abbey and Crowndale all route maps are available to be printed from the Drake's Trail website.
